Why boycott?

Scooter Braun has repeatedly expressed unconditional support for the occupation state, most recently at a demonstration in Tel Aviv in support of Israeli prisoners, where he declared solidarity with the occupation state without acknowledging the severe human rights violations that Palestinians are subjected to daily — including military occupation, hostage-taking, settlements, forced displacement, and the blockade of Gaza (source). With this type of support, he helps whitewash the occupation state’s apartheid policies. He has also compared peaceful pro-Palestinian protests to Nazi propaganda, contributing to the demonization of non-violent resistance and the denial of Palestinians’ fundamental rights (source). Scooter Braun is thus an active part of the propaganda that normalizes and defends an apartheid regime.

Hvorfor boykotte?

Scooter Braun har gentagne gange udtrykt ubetinget støtte til besættelsesstaten, senest i en demonstration i Tel Aviv til støtte for israelske fanger, hvor han erklærede solidaritet med besættelsesstaten uden at anerkende de alvorlige menneskerettighedskrænkelser, som palæstinensere dagligt udsættes for – herunder militær besættelse, gidseltagninger, bosættelser, tvangsforflyttelser og blokaden af Gaza (kilde).
