The Freedom Flotilla Coalition (FFC) is an international grassroots movement comprising campaigns and initiatives from around the world working together to end the illegal Israeli blockade of the Gaza Strip. They have repeatedly sent ships with humanitarian aid to Gaza, including some that were massacred by Zionist occupation soldiers.

"Madleen" (2025 Gaza Freedom Flotilla)
As of June 1, 2025, the "Madleen" ship from the Gaza Freedom Flotilla departed from Catania, Sicily. The ship began its journey just one month after Zionist drones bombed Conscience, another Gaza Freedom Flotilla (FFC) aid vessel, off the coast of Malta. Onboard Madleen are 12 international activists, including climate activist Greta Thunberg and French MEP Rima Hassan. Madleen is named after Gaza’s first and only female fisher, and the 2,000 km (1,250 miles) journey is expected to take seven days, provided there are no disruptions (source).

"Conscience" (2025 Gaza Freedom Flotilla)
As of May 2, 2025, another vessel from the Gaza Freedom Flotilla, named Conscience, was attacked by Zionist occupation drones in international waters off Malta’s coast. The ship carried 16–30 international human rights activists and humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip. The attack occurred about 14–17 nautical miles (26–31 km) from Malta, outside the country’s territorial waters (source 1, source 2).

2010 Gaza Freedom Flotilla
Gaza Freedom Flotilla (2010) was a small fleet of ships organized in 2010 by the Free Gaza Movement and the Turkish organization Foundation for Human Rights and Freedoms and Humanitarian Relief (İHH). The flotilla carried humanitarian aid and building materials with the aim of breaking the occupation state’s blockade of the Gaza Strip. Under normal circumstances, aid is first brought to Israel for inspection before being transferred to Gaza.

On May 31, 2010, Zionist occupation forces invaded and seized the ships using vessels and helicopters. After resistance on one of the ships, nine activists were killed by the Zionist occupation forces. The incident provoked widespread international condemnation, worsened relations between the occupation state and Turkey, and the occupation state subsequently eased its blockade of the Gaza Strip.
