Meta platforms like Facebook and 
Instagram is well-founded, however, the potential consequences should be considered.
These platforms are crucial for journalists and citizens in
Gaza. and the West Bank to share important eyewitness accounts, often ignored by traditional media. A boycott could limit their voice and this flow of information.
Facebook and Instagram are also essential in organizing demonstrations, civil society activities, and spreading awareness about the Palestine issue globally. Although Meta
suppresses pro-Palestinian voices, their platforms are also an important communication tool for these voices.
Therefore, one should have a balanced approach, supporting the Palestinian cause while also pushing for reforms within Meta.
An effective approach also includes the use of ad blockers on PC and mobile to block advertisements, which can reduce Meta's revenue.
