Mærsk is indispensable in arms transport to the occupation state.

Maersk is involved in all aspects of the war supply chain to the occupation state: delivering military goods to the occupation state’s arms manufacturers, and shipping military goods to the occupation state from the USA, including during the occupation state’s genocide of 2.3 million Palestinians in the illegally occupied Gaza Strip.

In the past year, Mærsk has shipped millions of pounds of military goods to the occupation state from the USA. BDS research (source) showed that Maersk has transported everything from tactical vehicles (source) to parts for armored tanks, aircraft, and artillery systems (source) for the Israeli Ministry of Defense.

Mærsk fulfills part of its Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with the U.S. Department of Defense by transporting military goods — one of the supply chain projects Mærsk supports logistically is the Namer armored personnel carrier (APC-MT883) (source), heavily used in the ongoing aggression against Gaza. Another supply chain is for the Oshkosh Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles, where Mærsk helps fulfill part of the supply chain related to a $159 million foreign arms sale to the occupation state from the U.S. Department of Defense.

Maersk ships also transport military goods to U.S. arms manufacturers so these companies can assemble weapons that kill Palestinians. Research (source) shows that Maersk has significant connections to the F35 jet program. Wings and aircraft structures for Lockheed Martin’s fighter jets are transported on Mærsk liners to the USA, where the aircraft are assembled and then sent to massacre Palestinians and destroy Palestinian cities, villages, and refugee camps. Mærsk also facilitates exports from illegal settlements (source) on behalf of companies operating in them. Mærsk actively supports companies enabling the establishment, maintenance, and expansion of illegal settlement economies and infrastructure in violation of international law.

Copenhagen Pride
In May 2024, Mærsk, along with several other companies, chose to end its partnership with Copenhagen Pride. This followed Copenhagen Pride’s February 14 statement that they “stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people” and asked partners to take a position on the conflict between Gaza and Israel.
