Why boycott?
As of June 2024, Bjarne Laustsen was a
member of parliament for 
the Social Democrats, and part of the Parliament Presidium, which decided that the question of whether Denmark should recognize 
Palestine as an independent state shall be banned as a topic in next year’s school elections (source
). Bjarne Laustsen implemented the ban because recognizing Palestine as an independent state “contains a high degree of complexity and is a potentially sensitive topic for specific students and their families.”Hvorfor boykotte?
Per juni 2024 var Bjarne Laustsenfolketingsmedlem for Socialdemokratiet, og en del af Folketingets Præsidium, som besluttede, at spørgsmålet om, hvorvidt Danmark bør anerkende Palæstina som en selvstændig stat, skal forbydes som et tema til næste års skolevalg (kilde).
