Why boycott?

Shiloh Winery produces wine from illegally occupied land and is thus part of the colonial infrastructure sustaining Palestinian oppression. The vineyard is located in the Israeli settlement Shiloh in the occupied West Bank. Most of the grape production comes directly from occupied land, including areas around Hebron, where Palestinians live under military control, checkpoints, and violent displacement.

In 2018, Shiloh Winery received nearly 1 million shekels in state support from the occupation state’s Ministry of Finance as part of a larger investment plan and direct support for the economic expansion of the settlement industry and colonial exploitation of stolen land with military protection, contributing to the normalization of the occupation.

Hvorfor boykotte?

Shiloh Winery fremstiller vin fra ulovligt besat jord og er dermed en del af den koloniale infrastruktur, der fastholder palæstinensisk undertrykkelse. Vingården ligger i den israelske bosættelse Shiloh i den besatte Vestbred. Det meste af drueproduktionen stammer direkte fra besat jord, herunder områder omkring Hebron, hvor palæstinensere lever under militær kontrol, checkpoints og voldelig fordrivelse.

I 2018 modtog Shiloh Winery næsten 1 million shekel i statsstøtte fra besættelsesstatens økonomiministerium som del af en større investeringsplan og direkte støtte til den økonomiske ekspansion af bosættelsesindustrien og kolonial udnyttelse af stjålet jord og militær beskyttelse, hvilket bidrager til normalisering af besættelsen.
