Why boycott?

The New York Times is a central actor in legitimizing Israel’s occupation and apartheid. The newspaper systematically promotes Israeli narratives, while Palestinian voices are downplayed, distorted, or portrayed as extremist. The language reveals a structural bias: the occupation state’s military actions are described as “defense,” while Palestinian resistance is labeled “terror.” Critics of the occupation state rarely receive airtime, and journalists with a Palestinian perspective risk censorship or removal. The New York Times is thus complicit in maintaining inequality and undermining international support for Palestinian rights.

Hvorfor boykotte?

The New York Times er en central aktør i legitimeringen af Israels besættelse og apartheid.
